We have been talking about dining at Apollonia since it opened at The Shoppes at University Town Center over two years ago and finally got around to it this past week. It took over the restaurant formerly occupied by Urban Flats and it didn’t take too many cosmetic changes to adapt to the space.
The atmosphere is casual and comfortable. We were seated inside at a table next to the front windows which are large sliders that open when the weather permits as was the case for us. They have a generous bar area as well as a few outdoor covered tables.
Our server greeted us promptly and we ordered a glass of wine from their extensive list of wines by the glass. I ordered the Gyro Platter which consisted of rotisserie spiced lamb with rice pilaf, grilled vegetables, tzatziki and pita bread. My husband ordered the grouper Florentine. We were pleased with the quality of the meals, presentation, and felt the prices were very reasonable.
If you’re in the mood for a little Mediterranean food I would recommend this restaurant. Check out their website for more information.
